It’s always a pleasure photographing weddings at Mudbrick Vineyard. Amanda and Philip picked a beautiful day to get married, and they even brought along their fur baby as an honorary member of the bridal party :p It was bustling with energy throughout the day, sprinkled with lots of laughs during the speeches and also tears when the vows were spoken during the ceremony.

Fran and Rich were married at her parents’ stunning property just a little outside of Auckland. I was stoked when she first told me that there’s going to be a marquee at her wedding, and it looked even better than I had envisioned when I got there on the day itself! With the marquee perched on a great vantage point over looking the surrounding water and hills, the scenery was truly breath-taking.

To make the day even more special than it already was, Fran’s brother even took on the role of celebrant! After the ceremony, we explored around the estate and found a number of really cool spots for photos. When it came time for the couple to make their entrance back into the party, Fran’s dad escorted them in while playing the bagpipes. Such a cool day to say the least. We also scored an amazing sunset to end the day, it was just perfect.
