Julianne and Mike picked Piha Beach to have their engagement session, and let’s just say I am in total agreement of their choice! The stunning coastline, black sandy beach, beautiful rock formations and the potential for awesome sunsets are probably enough reasons to make this such a great place for photos.

I know I say this often, but I truly have the best clients in the world! The couple was great to work with, never complained about having to climb hills, get their feet wet, kick sand close to each others’ faces or walk all over the beach just to get the best photos we could. Legends!

The first day I met up with Lionel I really couldn’t give him a lot of information as my emotions from struggling to find a photographer got the better of me (it was only 4 and a half weeks till our wedding!!!). Lionel was present for our wedding from very early morning up until it was dark and no more photos could be done. He captured the essence of the day, many friends and family have commented that our photos show how much we love one another!
