Peta-Maria and Ihaka’s abundance of positive energy was apparent from the first day we met. They picked an incredible part of Auckland to get married, and got to see each other for the first time (on the wedding day that is!) in a very beautiful setting. Memories from the day are still fresh, I remember snapping a few shots of the groom waiting at the pier just before the first look. He was calm, too calm even, and nerves started to get to him. When Ihaka heard Peta-Maria’s footsteps getting louder, he started to smile and then he turned around. This goes to show how comforting it is for him when she’s present 🙂
