So this post is a few weeks late, but I am a firm believer of ‘better late than never’. I received a message on Facebook, from a drag artist (a very talented one at that!) wanting to do a little collaboration with some set pieces that she had created. I jumped at the chance! And the great thing was, I had only just shot a wedding at the Riverhead Forest few days prior to our correspondence, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect.
Andrew was great fun to work with, and he was incredible with following directions AND coming up with fresh poses. The shoot did go moderately smooth without too many hiccups, even though we had to battle some ‘natural foes’ out in the wild – horse poo minefields, armies of bugs, thick undergrowth and sunlight so harsh that my camera threatened to melt. Nonetheless, we had fun, gained experience, and managed to finish the shoot with some interesting images.
Definitely looking forward to more shoots in the future!
