Sophia and Mark were married at Waterfall Farm in Kaukapakapa, less than an hour away from Auckland. When I first arrived at the venue to scout out locations a week before, I never expected to see a woodland themed ceremony site hidden behind the tree line! Definitely a pleasant surprise. Earlier in the day, the bridal party got ready at Mataia Homestead where we also had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
The reception was held in a beautiful clear marquee all decked out with fairy lights. The magic truly began after sunset when the marque was lit up, just stunning! Emotions were flowing especially during the speeches when there were lots of laughs, followed by tears during the parent dances..
