Lynn & Tim – Settlers Country Manor Wedding

Lynn and Tim planned an amazing wedding day at Settlers Country Manor. One of the benefits of this venue is its beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, so the couple had nothing to worry about even though we had a bit of rain during the ceremony. The girls also got ready at the stunning bridal suite at the venue, which is a huge bonus as it means less travelling!

All the guests were in for a treat as Lynn is also an incredible artist, and she had previously spent hours drawing each guest which also doubled up as a seating chart for the reception dinner!

Abbie and Scott were married at the stunning Tui Hills in Auckland.

Harriet & Stefan – Castaways Resort Wedding

Harriet and Stefan had a beautiful intimate ceremony at Castaways Resort, and having the venue all to ourselves made the day even more relaxed. We initially expected it to rain (thank goodness the forecast was inaccurate for once!), but the weather turned out great and we took full advantage of it.

Katie & Jono – Tawharanui Lodge Wedding

What a beautiful day it was! Katie and Jono got married at the stunning Tawharanui Lodge in Matakana. They chose to do a first look, so Jono had the opportunity to see Katie in her gorgeous dress before the ceremony. This was made even more special, as the bridal party was also present to witness the moment.

Lena & Darren – Settlers Country Manor Wedding

Lena and Darren picked a great day to get married at Settlers Country Manor in Auckland. Prior to the wedding ceremony, we took a quick detour to a nearby forest for some photos with the wedding party. Not only was everyone feeling fresher at this point, but this also meant more time for the bride and groom to mingle with guests after the ceremony.

We spent some time exploring the venue grounds for more photos, after which the wedding party did a dance-in to the reception pair by pair, all to loud cheers from the guests. One of the highlights of the night had to be Darren’s speech, as he dedicated it to Lena with a special surprise performance!

Fast forward to the evening after the wedding, the three of us met again for a post-wedding shoot and what a great decision that was. We had the perfect weather and got to do more photos without the stress of a wedding day, double win!

Sam & Chancy – St Margarets Cafe Wedding

Sam and Chancy had an intimate wedding at the beautiful gardens of St Margarets Cafe in Karaka, Auckland. It was such a blessed afternoon that even the rain stopped just before the ceremony was about to begin! Right after the ceremony, they had a chance to chat with family who were not able to attend the physical ceremony via FaceTime. With the awesome grounds available to us, we proceeded on to do some bridal party photos at the stunning venue before heading off into the city for some more.

Chancy in particular was keen on getting some photos in an urban setting, so we made our way into the heart of Auckland city to continue with our photo shoot. We had an incredible time with the bridal party. It was also such a cool feeling to see their faces light up when they first stepped into the iconic location. After the shoot, it was time for a nice dinner to end the day on a high note.

Wedding ceremony venue – St Margarets Cafe

Yan Yan & Matt – Castaways Resort Wedding

Yan Yan and Matt chose to have their wedding at Castaways Resort, and they picked the perfect day too. Their big day started with them reading a letter from each other in their separate units. Following this, the mood went from an emotional one to a more exciting one, with Matt and the boys being put through a series of challenges (bridal games) designed by the bridal party. Through team work, the boys successfully crossed all the hurdles presented to them and Matt got to see Yan Yan for the first time in her beautiful traditional outfit!

After the tea ceremony and a change of outfits, we had some time to do a ‘first look’ before some of the guests arrived. Then it was time for the ceremony to begin.

Later in the day, we were treated to a stunning sunset and we definitely made full use of it. Totally worth sneaking off from the reception for! The wonderful day was capped off with a sparkler exit for the bride and groom.
